A member association of companies along the pharmaceutical supply chain, to …
… raise awareness and specific understanding
… drive cross-industry solutions and
… facilitate the pharmaceutical sector’s transition to net-zero compliance

The packed agenda led to exciting discussions with forward-looking results. The following focus points can be mentioned:

– Content and impact of the new “Global Circularity Protocol”
– 5-year anniversary of the Alliance to Zero
– Reflections on the results achieved so far
– Summary and detailing of the value proposition
– Visions for a true circular economy in medical products
– Greenium
(Greenium refers to the yield difference that exists when purchasing a green bond compared to the purchase price of a conventional bond (“vanilla bond”).)
– Eco-design in mechanical engineering
– Packaging according to the new PPWR
(EU regulation on the regulation of packaging and packaging waste)
– Company visit at Schott Pharma in St. Gallen

For relaxation, in addition to the best catering at Hotel Stump Alpenrose, Wildhaus, there were also very special experiences. An alphorn player filled the hotel rooms with his sounds and tempted some participants to try their luck on the alphorn themselves, with sometimes surprisingly good results.
Another highlight was a yodeling course in the Klanghaus of Peter Roth’s Resonance Center. The impressive building itself appears like a musical instrument and offers various rooms with differentiated hall effects.
At this point, many thanks again to the Alliance to Zero organization for the rewarding invitation!
